Use BitTorrent, it's faster, especially now.

Yup, way faster - I was averaging 500KB/sec download with the torrent and only about 32KB/sec direct from NGD. Mine finished downloading ages ago, but I've left it uploading while I scan the forums and the new client updates its resources.

Torrents are the way forward and one of the best ways to distribute network load around the Internet.

I can't seem to work Torrents, and considering I know my way round the computer pretty well, its something. Sometimes I think my computer just doesnt tend to respond to them. In any case, coming direct from NGD Im getting anything from 30-50kb/s.

I'm a bit confused. Is a full download of the client absolutely necessary? Because I appear to be able to log in & use all the new features after letting my old client update itself.

WOW been loading the new version for 5hr and still havent reached 25%. IMO Old version was fine to me only really had lag since they started working more on new version and less mantaining the old. But downloading at between 13.5k/sec is insane and makes me wonder if its worth the headache. Sure it's a somewhat free game to play but come one this is too much after you have people hooked on your product. First post and i noticed everyone had a signature not sure how to add signature and not interested in finding out how but im bamaboy lvl 37 knight and B A M A B OY lvl 36 hunter
